I recently tackled a challenging front door installation for Mary in Plant City. Her east-facing entry door was creating a significant glare problem during morning hours, essentially turning her foyer into a hotspot of uncomfortable brightness every day.
For this solution, I selected my darkest non-reflective film specifically designed for decorative glass applications. What makes this particular installation noteworthy is how the film integrates with the unique properties of entry doors. Unlike regular windows, front doors often combine security, decorative, and functional elements that require special consideration.
The non-reflective quality was essential for Mary’s situation since she wanted to maintain the classic appearance of her entry door without adding any mirrored effect that would look out of place on a residential entrance. The film reduces an impressive 92% of glare while preserving the door’s architectural character.
