I was referred to Darren, Owner & Installer, Custom Glass Tinting by a neighbor and friend who had used Custom Glass Tinting to tint his entire home in 2021. I called my friend and asked his impression of Darren and also asked how his window film was holding up 3 years later? He was very happy to recommend Custom Glass Tinting and told me that his film was great and the film was backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty! Bottom line, my friend had nothing but good things to say about Darren! I called Darren and he came out the same week to measure our windows. He provided us with an estimate for our home. First impressions upon meeting him were spot on! He was prompt, professional, friendly, cordial and explained the products he used and showed us the different options of tint based on what we had discussed. We decided on a tint option and Darren scheduled an install the following week. We paid a deposit equaling 1/3rd of the cost after agreeing to the estimate. On install day, Darren arrived promptly, said, "Good Morning," and asked if he could bring in his equipment? Of course we agreed and within two hours, he had removed each window valance and shade, protected the floor beneath the window with a heavy drop cloth and cleaned the interior of each window, installed the window film, and finally reinstalled the shades and valances. To my delight, he had prepared (pre-cut) EACH SECTION of each panel prior to his arrival, rolled and labeled which window pane they were to be applied! No large sheets and waste cuts! In speaking with Darren about what a great expediter of installation this was, Darren shared with me that in doing this he can minimize waste and only charge his customers for the film used, thus saving him overcharging customers! For example, a window that is 32" in width cut from a 36" film would waste 4" that most other window tinting companies would charge the customer! Darren orders different widths of film from his SunTek vendor allowing him to pass the savings on to his customers! I was VERY IMPRESSED with his professionalism, friendly demeanor and his reasonable pricing! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND contacting Darren at Custom Glass Tinting if one is interested in Residential or Commercial Glass Tinting. Custom Glass Tinting is a family owned business in Lakeland and has been doing business by word of mouth for 35 plus years! Check him out! I can't imagine one would be disappointed!
