I was referred to Darren, Owner & Installer, Custom Glass Tinting by a competitor of his that I had called for an estimate who was short staffed and unable to come out but he highly recommended Darren as he had seen some of his work and said he did an excellent professional job. I called and made an appointment he came out to give me an estimate and I was VERY IMPRESSED with his professionalism, friendly demeanor and his reasonable pricing! He showed us samples and we decided on one and we went ahead that day and scheduled an appointment to have him install. The day of install he was prompt said good morning and wanted to bring his equipment in and he got right to work. DARREN was here on time (In fact, just a little early) And completed seven windows in just 2 1/2 hours! I was hesitant about choosing the highest degree of protection because I didn’t like the idea of reflective windows. Boy, was I wrong! They look amazing and I can already feel the difference in temperature in my west, facing room!

From start to finish a five star company! I called for an estimate speaking to Darren, (The Owner) He was very knowledgeable and courteous in our phone conversation. We made an appointment for an estimate, he showed up promptly, dressed appropriately with a company vehicle. So far so good! Darren proceeded to measure the windows involved. After a few moments of exchanging pleasantries, Darren explained he would have an estimate within a very short period of time. After two days, Darren presented with an estimate via phone. The estimate was more than fair. He explained the process and how much time it would take him to complete the job. We agreed on a price and booked an installation date. Again, Darren was very prompt for the installation. His work is impeccable and he possesses an amazing work ethic. The finished job was above my expectations. Darren is an absolute expert in his field. He explained every step and all information needed for maintaining the windows properly. In my opinion, it’s unusual to find a Company that can deliver what they say they will deliver. Darren delivered on the highest level! To say I would recommend Custom Glass Tinting Of Lakeland would be an understatement. Darren has a strategy and business plan that takes you back to yesterday where you felt secure dealing with a company. I find no negatives in this installation! We needed tint for our windows upstairs in the east facing bedroom, which received the most sun throughout the day. Darren was very informative and helpful about which tint would give us the best outcome. I immediately noticed the difference in the temperature of the room.

I was referred to Darren, Owner & Installer, Custom Glass Tinting by a neighbor and friend who had used Custom Glass Tinting to tint his entire home in 2021. I called my friend and asked his impression of Darren and also asked how his window film was holding up 3 years later? He was very happy to recommend Custom Glass Tinting and told me that his film was great and the film was backed by a Lifetime Limited Warranty! Bottom line, my friend had nothing but good things to say about Darren! I called Darren and he came out the same week to measure our windows. He provided us with an estimate for our home. First impressions upon meeting him were spot on! He was prompt, professional, friendly, cordial and explained the products he used and showed us the different options of tint based on what we had discussed. We decided on a tint option and Darren scheduled an install the following week. We paid a deposit equaling 1/3rd of the cost after agreeing to the estimate. On install day, Darren arrived promptly, said, "Good Morning," and asked if he could bring in his equipment? Of course we agreed and within two hours, he had removed each window valance and shade, protected the floor beneath the window with a heavy drop cloth and cleaned the interior of each window, installed the window film, and finally reinstalled the shades and valances. To my delight, he had prepared (pre-cut) EACH SECTION of each panel prior to his arrival, rolled and labeled which window pane they were to be applied! No large sheets and waste cuts! In speaking with Darren about what a great expediter of installation this was, Darren shared with me that in doing this he can minimize waste and only charge his customers for the film used, thus saving him overcharging customers! For example, a window that is 32" in width cut from a 36" film would waste 4" that most other window tinting companies would charge the customer! Darren orders different widths of film from his SunTek vendor allowing him to pass the savings on to his customers! I was VERY IMPRESSED with his professionalism, friendly demeanor and his reasonable pricing! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND contacting Darren at Custom Glass Tinting if one is interested in Residential or Commercial Glass Tinting. Custom Glass Tinting is a family owned business in Lakeland and has been doing business by word of mouth for 35 plus years! Check him out! I can't imagine one would be disappointed!
